UV Air Purifier - Improve your air quality
UV air purifiers are designed to use short-wave ultraviolet light (UV-C light) to inactivate airborne pathogens and microorganisms like mold, bacteria and viruses. They have the same ultimate goal of all air purifiers: to reduce indoor air pollutants. The technology is also referred to as UV germicidal irradiation, or UVGI air purifiers.
Ultraviolet disinfection is the use of ultraviolet wavelengths to destroy the molecular structure of DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) or RNA (ribonucleic acid)
in the cells of microorganisms, resulting in growth cell death and / or regenerative cell death, to achieve the effect of sterilization and disinfection, sterilization rate up to ≥99.99%
Since bacteria are only one cell, they rely on their DNA to live. This is the principle behind UV light air purifiers. If a bacterial cell’s DNA is sufficiently damaged, it triggers a self-destruct mechanism, rendering it harmless.
In addition, to the UV-C light, the UV Aire feature 5 layers of filtration and 7 layers of disinfection and purification.
The UV- Air features a distinctive real time air quality indicator – which changes from Red (bad air quality) to Blue (good air quality).
