Vacuum cleaners work by the vacuum motor spinning at high speed about 12000 – 15000 RPM to create a vacuum. Air together with dirt then rush in and the dirt gets trapped in a bag filter, which could be made of cloth or paper.
Paper Bags (Recommended)
The airflow is optimal as a full paper bag is always replaced by a new one which results in good airflow.
Vacuum motor lifespan is prolonged and premature failure of the motor is minimised.
Many users only replace a few paper bags a year!
Cloth Bags
These bags are reusable but need to be washed and dried. If the cloth bags are not washed, the pores of the bag will be chocked.
However, there are disposable single use cloth bags which are slightly more expensive but provide superior airflow.
